David Sein, our Head of Engineering and Chairman of Association of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Specialists (Hong Kong), recently joined the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Geotechnical Division delegation on a successful technical visit to Sydney.
The delegation visited the North Sydney offices of CIMIC Group to meet with Pedro Vicente, CIMIC Group's CEO, Geoff Sewell @EIC Activities’ Managing Director and Glyn Edwards @CPB Contractors’ General Manager Tunnelling and Major Projects, sharing valuable insights about geotechnical and project delivery, and infrastructure development.
Highlights included tours of CIMIC Group landmark projects such as Warringah Freeway Upgrade, Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Station Boxes and Tunnelling, and Rozelle Interchange.
This visit was a fruitful and fantastic for knowledge exchange and insight sharing between construction industry fellows.
