We are glad that our Boardwalk Underneath Island Eastern Corridor (Boardwalk) project was featured in the recent Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Association’s Safety Bulletin.
Upon the completion, the Boardwalk project will connect the northern shore of Hong Kong Island and provide a continuous promenade of 12km for public enjoyment.
To effectively mitigate safety risks and reduce environmental impacts, we applied the following innovative technology throughout the construction process:
✅ Use of Reverse Circulation (RC) Down-The-Hole (DTH) hammer equipment for marine pre-bored socket H-pile works
✅ Unmanned underwater drone for inspection
✅ Use of Smart Robotic Lifesaver
✅ Application of Smart Roborigger® to ensure safety of operations
✅ Real time monitoring of workers’ health condition with Smart Watch System
✅ VR training module to educate workforce on marine safety risk
