Leighton Asia recently welcomed the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and academics from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) to the Boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor project, sharing knowledge and insights on how to use innovative technologies to enhance construction safety and productivity.
During the visit, we showcased innovative technology including the pioneering water-based rescue technology “Smart Lifesaver Robot” which had its first application in the construction industry in Hong Kong. It supports our emergency team for safe and rapid marine rescue, and reflects our industry-leading position in smart construction.
We are thrilled to learn and engage with industry bodies and academia, working together to innovate and build a safer and more sustainable future.
