Leighton Asia’s Women in Construction and Engineering (WOICE) Group visited the Vale Project in Sorowako, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
WOICE members Fadilah, Mariza Steffany, and Rini Suprihatin had the opportunity to learn more about mineral processing operations and explore innovative environmental practices, including the dust agglomeration process, which reduces emissions and supports sustainability.
They also connected with a group of inspiring women who are breaking stereotypes in the mining and construction industry. These pioneering professionals embody resilience, teamwork, and steadfast commitment to safety.
The visit underscores WOICE’s mission to empower women and promote equality. By amplifying stories of inclusion and determination, WOICE continues to inspire a more diverse and sustainable future in the industry.
